Week Review...and the Week Before That

Haven't been on for a while and I haven't had much time to blog...so here it is the wait is over!

We'll it's been a w;hile but 2 weeks ago my team had a game we played Hazelewood and we tied 12-12. We should have had that game but our defense gave up a HUGE TD in the 4th quarter. So my team is now 1-1-1.

Staying with football...How bout' them Broncos!!???!! They wern't supposed to be very good this year but they've started out strong. They have one of the best offenses in the country. They first place in the divison and dosen't look like they're slowing down!

On Sunday when we were at church the lights went out and then started flickering. I knew huricane Ike's aftermath was supposed to hit us so I didn't think much of it. But when we got home we sat down to eat lunch and all the lights went off. Luckily we had McDonalds so we had food for lunch. We stayed home no lights,no tv, no nothing. They said it could be 2 days till we had electicity or even up to a week!!!! Thankfully it was not a week only 4 days, but it seemed like a year, and the best part of all NO SCHOOL!!!!!

Last night I went bowling with my youth group at church group. We had alot of fun. We went to Taco Bell for dinner then TRIED to get to the bowling lanes in Louisville. Lets just say Mapquests directions aren't the best. We got off on the exit it told us to and well we ended up on the West side of Louisville. After that excperiance we found a bowling ally in Jeffersonville Indiana. I wasent to bad I came in second the first game and third the second.

This has been a good two weeks, but now we have to go back to school and start ISTEP:(

Week Review

I haven't been on for a while so I will recap the last week.

Last Thursday I had my first game. We beat Providence 22-6. Our team looked pretty good. Then on Saturday I went paintballing with my youth group. That was alot of fun and made some new friends. I have a couple big brusies on my arm and legs. Sunday we went to church and hung out at home. On Monday for Labor Day we went to somones house from church. We had a good time there and played cornhole, threw the football around,and shot some real guns. Then Tuesday had a test in Social Studies. I got a 78 out of 82 and only missed two questions! On Thursday we had our second football game but we lost to the Panthers 14-0. We wernt very good this time. And it was raining and the ball was slipery and we were fumbleing all over the place. So when we got to the locker room everyone was mad. On Friday me and Brooke went to a youth club in downtown Georgetown. That was fun one of Brookes friends has a brother in 7th grade so I hung out with him. It has been a good week besides loseing to the Panthers. O and I almost forgot GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!

Are You ready for some football!!!???

The football preseason has begun! Besides the fact of the Broncos loseing the preseason opener all has gone well. And this year I'm sure the Lombardi Trophy will be in Denver again!! Go Broncos!!!!

And besides the Broncos I've started football! Football for me began monday the 11th. It is alot diffrent from the city league in Fort Collins. I already like it and I am doing good so far. My first game is in two weeks and our team is looking good!

First Week of School!!

On Wendsday was the first day of school. My new school is called Highland Hills Middle School. It's a big step from Riffenburgh. There is at least triple the students, there is three floors, and the food is a ton better!!! The first few days of school have been good I havent been late for any of my classes yet and I've got some new friends already! Looks like it's going to be a good year.

Birds Found

The other day me and Brooke were walking around out back and we found three baby birds. One was dead but the other two were still alive. We got a shoebox and put them in it then we cooked some noodles in the microwave, then fed them the noodles. They liked them and we kept them for two days but on Friday they died. We think they got to cold in the night.

Two Trips...One Week

This past week I went on two trips! The first was to Cincinnati, Ohio. I went with my Nana and Papa, my cousins, my step bro, my sis, and my step sis. We left Saturday night, hopeing to drive halfway get a hotel room and start up again. That's not what happened. At around 11:00 pm we stoped to try and get a hotel room. We didn't find a room till 2:30 am!!! We got up then and it took another four hours to get to Cinci. We got there then headed for our hotel. We got at the hotel then went swimming. Then we went swimming again with Brain and Jen. That night everyone except Nana, Brooke and Mason went to see The Journey to the Center of the Earth On Monday we went to the Cincinnati Museum. We went to the IMAX, the Museum of Science and Natural History, and the Body Exhibit. All of them were lots of fun. On Tuesday we went to Uncle Buck and Aunt Betty's and hung out there. Then later that night we went to Game Works and had alot of fun and all of us won a ton of tickets! On Wednesday we went to the Creation Museum. That was alot of fun and I learned alot. Then that night we went to a Drive In and saw Batman. Then Thursday we went to Conney Island. That was a ton of fun we swam and went to the amusement park. That was probably the best part of the week! Then after Conney my grandma and grandpa picked us up and we went to IN. We got there and then went to sleep.

The next day we woke up and signed Brooke up for school and then went to Chicago. It was about a 6 hour drive but we got there before our grandparents who left first. After we got there we stoped at our favorite Chinese restaurant Gen Hoe. Yummmm!!!! Then we went to Sylvia and Dave's house and went to sleep. On Saturday we got up and went garage saleing . I got some Shadow Boxes for my new room. Then we went to eat with Aunt Susie and her daughter, Kristi. Later that day we met up with our Mom's friend, Jeany. We went to a place called Salerno's. It was a pizza place. Then we went to her place. On Sunday, we went to our favorite Chinese place again, Gen Hoe. Great Chinese as always!! After that we got back on the road. We had a great time in Cincinnati as well as Chicago!!
